“Unless he hits 100-200 balls, he doesn’t get sleep”: Says Shami. Who is he talking about?
In a career spanning 9 years, 31-year-old medium-pacer, Shami has represented India in 57 Tests, 71 ODIs, and 17 T20Is. He is among the regulars in all 3 formats.
“No one can frustrate you like Chesteshwar Pujara,” says Shami. Pujara who has not made it to the Team India squad for the upcoming Test in Sri Lanka is known for frustrating bowlers in the red-ball format.
He has amassed 3 double centuries, 18 tons, and 32 half-centuries under his belt.
Shami also opened up about finding Bumrah’s action peculiar when he saw him for the first time.
“I wondered how someone could bowl so fast with that action and where he got the power from,” commented Shami.
Shami, reportedly is a fan of Jasprit Bumrah’s yorker deliveries and said that the Indian pace unit constantly strives to get the best out of each other.
