After 2 years, Shah Rukh Khan has returned to the screen and the king of Bollywood launched the fan anthem for his Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders. Also, the 54 year old actor makes an appearance in it. The fans of SRK, who have been waiting for him to make an announcement about his next film, can probably get relief for some time after watching the anthem, titled Laphao.
The world famous Bollywood actor appears in the song wearing a hoodie with KKR’s logo on it which he eventually takes off to debut his new hairstyle. His mane is appreciably longer, something he has kept hidden under a beanie as he was photographed while watching the Indian Premier League matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

SRK has been careful about his new release. He was last seen on screen in December 2018 in his movie Zero and has often responded to questions about his new release in his signature witty style.

According to the reports, Shah Rukh Khan could be next seen in Yash Raj Films (YRF) production movie titles Pathan, however, neither the actor nor the production house has commented on the development.
The actor is also celebrating the 25th anniversary of his iconic film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
The KKR Fan anthem has been performed and composed by Indian rap singer Badshah. Along with the rapper, the anthem also features SRK himself and many KKR players. It gives the message of social distancing, explaining why the 13th edition of IPL is taking place in the UAE in 20020. The catch phrase of the anthem, Laphao, means “Jump” in Bengali.
Talking about the fan anthem of KKR, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have been attending the matches and I truly miss the energy of our toofani fans! Since we have to show our love to each other thoda door se this year, we created a fan anthem that captures the emotions of all our fans aptly and was even launched by them today.”
He added, “It was great fun to interact with the team today and we hope to keep making our fans proud,” during its virtual launch. Currently, Kolkata Knight Riders sit at 4th position with 10 points after 9 matches. Today they will face Royal Challengers Bangalore at 7:30 PM Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
