On Raw Day 1, as fans awaited the return of the former WWE Champion, “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal made a comeback to television. The WWE Universe expressed outrage and addressed the WWE Universe and the people of the United States.
The Rock then made a surprise appearance on Raw, interrupting Jinder Mahal. The crowd’s chants echoed loudly, nearly reaching the sky. The People’s Champ humorously taunted Mahal and executed a spine buster followed by The People’s Elbow on him.
Following the most spectacular move, the legend grabbed the microphone and announced that he was hungry and in need of something to eat. He then questioned San Diegans, “Should the Rock sit in a booth? Should The Rock take a seat in the booth? He hinted about a possible fight with his cousin, Roman Reigns, by mentioning cousin, ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns, when he said, “Should The Rock sit at the head of the table?”
Is The Rock Making a Full-Time Comeback?
As the Great One has returned to television, there is speculation as to whether he will be available full-time. For the time being, the answer to the question is no. His return on Day 1 is just a tease for future television appearances and the unfolding of his feud with Roman Reigns. The Rock teased his next appearance on Instagram with the words “We are just getting started,” but the people’s champ has yet to announce a date.
The Rock addressed Austin Theory on SmackDown in September 2023, alongside Pat McAfee. He was a regular performer for the last time in April 2023, during his feud with John Cena. After that, he showed up only a few times now and then.
Reports suggest that he might show up and even have a match at Elimination Chamber. This could imply that we’ll see him on TV again shortly.
It’ll be interesting to watch how The Rock’s return fits into the overall tale, as well as how the rivalry with Reigns develops. Fans are looking forward to the buildup and intensity of their feud. The anticipation is high, and everyone’s curious to witness how this clash will develop in the coming weeks.
