West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards and Pakistan legend Javed Miandad entertained spectators with a fun cycling competition on the sidelines of the Pakistan Junior League. Along with players like Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Daren Sammy, Colin Munro, and Imran Tahir, Richards and Miandad were appointed as league mentors.
The Pakistan Junior League commenced on October 6 and will continue through October 22. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took to Twitter and shared a video of the two cricket stalwarts and wrote, “Show us a better video today; we will wait!”

Prior to this, Richards participated in Quetta Gladiators’ PSL campaign in six of the league’s seven seasons, helping them win the championship in 2019.
With 8,540 runs in 121 games, Richards is a two-time World Cup champion and averaged over 50 in Tests. He took 32 Test and 118 ODI wickets while playing 187 ODIs and scoring 6,721 runs. Miandad, on the other hand, scored 7381 runs in 233 ODIs with the help of eight centuries, totalling 8832 runs in 124 Tests, including 23 centuries.

Sir Viv Richards expressed his jubilation upon reuniting with Javed Miandad at the Pakistan Junior League. He lauded Miandad, saying that he was a great fighter and a tough competitor and that it would be an absolute pleasure working alongside him around the exhilarating and ingenious concept of the Pakistan Junior League.
“I am really excited at the opportunity of working with Sir Vivian Richards, who remains one of the greatest players to play the game,” remarked Javed Miandad.
