There is one batsman in the Mumbai Indians’ squad which is making a name for himself with his superior performances and consistency in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League which is being played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Suryakumar Yadav has been in sensational form and in the match against Delhi Capitals played on Sunday he proved to be the gamechanger, smashing 53 runs in 32 balls on a surface which was proving to be difficult to bat on for most seasoned batsmen.

The 30 year old batsman, Suryakumar Yadav, is also the leady run scorer for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 as of today with 233 runs in just 7 games which includes 2 half centuries. Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians’ skipper must be hoping the Yadav would continue to perform the same in the rest of the tournament.
Yadav has left many people in praise and one such impressed person is the former India batsman Aakash Chopra who believes that Yadav could make it to the Indian team before the end of the year.
In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Chopra said, “I feel Suryakumar Yadav was the game-changer in the match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. The manner in which he is batting, whether you see his shots over the covers or his flicks or his cut shots,”.
In the video, he said, “The icing on the cake with cherry on top was the flick he played of Rabada’s bowling for a six. My jaw dropped after watching that six. I said that this player should play for India.

“I am saying that before the end of 2020, he will be a part of the Indian team and I feel he will also play matches for the Indian team. This is a voice that is coming from my heart for this player and hopefully, that happens.”
Currently, Mumbai Indians sit comfortably at the top of the IPL 2020 points table with 10 points after 7 matches same as Delhi Capitals but claiming edge with Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.327 against Delhi Capitals’ +1.038.
