Czeslaw Michniewicz, the head coach of Poland, said on Tuesday, before their important last World Cup Group C encounter, that the matchup between Poland and Argentina would be a contest between the two teams and not amongst strikers Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi.
Robert Lewandowski, the great striker for Poland, is making a name for himself at Barcelona, where he has emerged as a fan favourite after scoring 18 goals in 19 matches so far this season. Lewandowski is stepping into the footsteps of Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
Michniewicz does not believe that this will be a matchup between Messi and Lewandowski, despite the fact that many people have branded it as such.
Robert is in the same boat as Leo when it comes to relying on his colleagues. According to the coach, while we depend heavily on these fantastic attackers, they cannot carry us to victory on their own.
Poland currently leads the rankings with four points and will progress regardless of whether they win, tie, or lose. They would nevertheless be eliminated from the competition if they suffered a loss and Saudi Arabia triumphed against Mexico at the same time.
The entire football community has been anticipating the outcome of this game since the teams were first assigned. On November 30, at 22:00 GMT+3, Poland and Argentina will square off in the last round of the group phase of the World Cup. The match will get underway on that day.
Michniewicz acknowledged that, as a fan, he has always cheered for Argentina, but he stated that he will not have any contradictory feelings during Wednesday’s game.

He claims that ever since he was a young boy, he has supported Argentina in every sporting event he has seen. They have incredible supporters, an incredible squad, and several players with enormous personalities, such as Mario Kempes in 1978 and others.
After suffering a loss to Saudi Arabia by a score of 2-1 in their first match in Group C, Argentina is in danger of not advancing to the knockout phases of the competition. They must win against Poland in order to ensure a spot in the round of 16, where there is a possibility that they could face the defending world champions, France, who eliminated them from competition at the same level in 2014.
