Sebastian Vettel, one of the finest athletes to have competed in Formula One, bid his final goodbyes to the sport on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Vettel finished the race in the Aston Martin and was tenth overall. The German had a charming smile on his face as he ended his remarkable career, despite the fact that he would’ve wanted to end on the podium. Vettel’s “doughnut” display at the finish line mesmerised the crowd.

Vettel, who was dubbed the “baby-faced assassin” during his early Formula 1 career, is leaving a huge legacy after winning four consecutive Drivers’ Championship titles (from 2010 to 2013).
Prior to his final race, Vettel had remarked, “The decision has been a difficult one for me to take and I have spent a lot of time thinking about it.”

With regard to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Max Verstappen came out on top of the podium and earned a record-breaking 15th victory of the season.
