According to rumours, Triple H is still changing his mind on what WWE and NXT need to be. Triple H’s influence has been palpable ever since he assumed control of WWE creative in July, but it now seems that he’ll be making substantial changes to the brand that he helped establish, NXT.
Triple H is bringing back more than just the black and gold emblem to NXT. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, the next Halloween Havoc event is classified internally as a TakeOver.
“Halloween Havoc is now listed as Takeover,” said Bryan Alvarez. He further went on to say that Hunter has reinstated the Takeover name, which Vince and Kevin Dunn had banned and wants to get revenge on a lot of people, including his own father-in-law.”

Last Night Witnessed The End Of WWE NXT 2.0’s Official Format
On the USA Network last night, NXT 2.0 celebrated its one year, but the show finished in a rather unexpected way.
Immediately after the main event, in which SmackDown Solo Sikoa triumphed against Carmelo Hayes to win the NXT North American Championship for the first time ever, a video package with Shawn Michaels discussing the development of the NXT brand was shown.
The NXT 2.0 logo was replaced by a new black-and-gold logo at the end, as you can see in the tweet attached below.

Although it’s unclear what this means for NXT moving forward, there is a lot of optimism online surrounding the future of WWE’s developing brand.
