The 28 year old Belgian footballer Romelu Lukaku will not be sold this summer, according to Inter Chief Executive Officer Beppe Marotta.
Since he scored 24 goals in 36 games for the Nerazzurri in the last season of Serie A when they picked up the league title, Lukaku has now been linked with a move to some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Since he arrived at San Siro in 2019 from Manchester United, he has thrived and found the back of the net a total of 64 times for the Milanese outfit, while his four goals in five Euro 2020 matches for Belgium caught a lot of attention.
Ahead of the friendly match against Pergolettese, Marotta spoek to Sportmediaset, and said: “From our side, we can yes absolutely, Lukaku is not for sale. Lukaku is an important piece on the chessboard available to Simone Inzaghi.”
Among the clubs which have been licked with Lukaku is Premier League giants Chelsea which has been most heavily linked with a summer swoop for Lukaku, even though Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland appears to be their primary target.
Haaland, though, could only be signed for an extortionate price.
Inter Milan, like many other Football Clubs around the globe, are in a difficult financial situation due to COVID-19 and will need to sell players this summer, with even the sale of Achraf Hakimi to French football giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) earlier this month only going some way to alleviating their concerns.

Having said that, the transfer has given the Italian giants some space to breathe with regards to their top players and also gives them the greater muscle to keep their most prolific hitman.
Manchester City, another Premier League giant, has been linked with a move for Lukaku, with Pep Guardiola’s side only boasting Gabriel Jesus as a natural centre forward in their ranks.
