As India tastes defeat in the first two One Day International (ODI) matches, Team India led by skipper Virat Kohli found redemption in the third and the final match in the 3-match ODI series against Australia.
All rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja played the crucial unbeaten inning and it didn’t go unnoticed by the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly.
Sourav Ganguly, who is regarded as one of the best Indian captains to have ever served the Indian cricket team praised the duo on Twitter saying, “Good win for india inspite of series loss..hopefully it will turn things around as it’s a long tour ..jadeja and Pandiya can be huge assets to this team in the long run ..plays at difficult positions”

Pandya and Jadeja put up an unbeaten 150 run partnership on the scoreboard against Australia, and help team India set a 303-run target for the hosts. Hardik Pandya scored 92 off of 76 deliveries, hitting a six and 7 boundaries. From the other end, Ravindra Jadeja scored 66 runs from just 50 balls, hitting 5 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, scored 63 runs for India from 78 deliveries.
India restricted the team in yellow at 289, sending the entire team to the dressing room after 49.3 overs at 289 runs despite some strong performances from Aaron Finch (75) and Glenn Maxwell (59).
Jadeja also worked his magic with the ball as he sent Finch back to the dressing room.
In the match, the debutant from team India, fast bowler T Natarajan, also made his mark as he managed to take 2 wickets in 10 over and giving out 70 runs and even bowling a maiden over.
Team India lost their first two ODIs by a huge margin and due to this, they have lost the series 1-2, however, saved themselves from a complete whitewash.
