AB de Villiers, 36, retired from all formats of international cricket back on 23rd Mat 2018 but he still plays in Twenty20 league in South Africa and Australis.
de Villiers was on the winning team in an experimental three-team tournament in July.
Thorugh a virtual media conference which was held in Dubai on Wednesday, Hesson said, “Only a matter of weeks ago he took part in a match in South Africa and once again he was a standout player, having just come out of his living room. So that certainly showed the quality of player he is,”.

He said, “We saw some different deliveries that he’s been able to develop over the last six months. So he’s certainly not ready to retire yet, certainly very keen to make a contribution this IPL.”
IPL 2020 will be played in the United Arab Emirates and will start from the 19th of September with the first match played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings who also played the last match of IPL 2019 in the tournament Finale.
